The compact pressure transmitter is named after its small size and light weight, and can be installed in narrow or small spaces. Like other pressure transmitters, in order for the compact pressure transmitter to play a sufficient role, it is necessary to choose a suitable model of product. This needs to be considered from the user's operating parameters and actual usage needs. There are mainly several reference directions.
According to the measurement pressure range
Firstly, it is necessary to specify the maximum value of the required range. The selected compact pressure transmitter model should be at least 1.5 times higher than this maximum value, or even up to 5-10 positions, to avoid damage to the compact pressure transmitter under pressure spikes or continuous pulse impacts, thereby shortening its service life.
According to the type of measured pressure
The common types of pressure include gauge pressure, absolute pressure, differential pressure, etc. Gauge pressure refers to the pressure based on the atmosphere, which is less than or greater than atmospheric pressure; Absolute pressure refers to the zero position of absolute pressure as the reference, which is higher than absolute pressure; Differential pressure refers to the difference between two pressures. Different models are suitable for measuring different types of pressure.
Based on the type of medium being tested
According to the different properties of the medium, it can be divided into dry gas, gaseous liquid, highly corrosive liquid, viscous liquid, high-temperature gas liquid, etc. Different media have different properties, such as viscous liquid mud that can block pressure interfaces, solvents or corrosive substances that can damage directly in contact with components, etc.
